Hello to all our WONDERFUL families!
We miss your children and their smiling faces here at our office. As an office of moms, we recognize the unprecedented impact COVID-19 has had on our children's lives. Like your family, our team has faced many challenges during the 'Stay at Home' order and we are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines.
Thank goodness Governor Murphy has allowed elective medical and dental procedures to resume, and we are happy to announce that we are gearing to reopen in stages. While many things have changed, one thing remains the same: we are 100% committed to your child's dental health, safety, and overall well-being.
In our initial phase of reopening, we will need to focus on patients with emergent and urgent dental needs, such as those with existing treatment that had to be postponed or cancelled due to the current pandemic. During this first phase, it will also be necessary to see a reduced volume of patients on a daily basis, to comply with guidelines on social distancing and infection control from state and national agencies. As additional safety measures and for your peace of mind, we have included UV Disinfection and HEPA-H13 Air Filtering in the office and dental operatories. This ensures a rapid turnaround of clean, filtered air!
As time goes on and we reach the second and third phases of re-opening, we will begin to incorporate check-ups, cleanings, and other forms of preventive dentistry. Please know that our office will continue to adhere to up-to-date guidance from state and national regulatory agencies. Our goal is to keep you safe and healthy in our caring environment!
Our considerate and attentive receptionists will share valuable information with you regarding patient care during this phased re-opening. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this process, and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or concerns so we may do our best to accommodate you. Call us at 908-469-4375.
We are here to help, as we appreciate what a challenging time this has been and sincerely hope you are coping as best you can. While infection rates of COVID-19 in NJ are decreasing, our office continues to follow strict infection risk reduction procedures. ***Only ONE parent is allowed in the building/office per child. All adults and children older than 2 years MUST wear a mask in the office*** If you or your child is sick, please call to reschedule your appointment. If you are running late, call the office before entering so that we can instruct you on the best time to enter; this is to avoid crowding in the waiting room/reception desk area.
Thank you for your support of our pediatric dental practice. We value your trust and strive to continue delivering the very best care that you have grown accustomed to. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Let's all remember to be strict with our hygiene (hand-washing) and cover up with a face mask in public. This will help to reduce the spread of germs! We will get through this COVID-19 crisis TOGETHER.
Sincerely,
Dr. Rosalie V. Matos and the entire Team at Dr. Matos's Growing Smiles, P.A.
